Peppermill Design

Overview

For this project I was contracted to reverse engineer an existing collection of peppermills. I created detailed CAD models of eight different mills, and then created technical drawings for manufacturing. Through working with a factory in China, I was able to learn about the manufacturing process and tolerances needed for mass production. We are currently in the process of manufacturing 10,000 units for sale in the US market.
